I’m not even gonna lie Skinnytaste is one of my all-time favorite websites. I always choose Weight Watchers as my diet of choice if I’m going to diet, because I know that I don’t have to give up flavor for it. Skinnytaste brings this home even more than ever with her delicious recipes. I promise if you try one of Gina’s recipes you’ll feel better about eating healthy.
2. Oh, Ladycakes
Oh, Ladycakes was a blog that I fell upon accidentally. I was looking for blogs to follow via bloglovin, and it was suggested to me. I followed, and I can tell you that I haven’t regretted it for even a moment. Ashlae’s recipes are vegan in nature, but you won’t notice any lack of flavor. If you like fresh, seasonal, and local ingredients then this is definitely the blog for you. Feel free to eat guilt free.
3. Eat Yourself Skinny
This was another blog that I stumbled upon when trying to find weight watchers friendly recipes to share with Love, and I was hooked from the get go. There are few things I love more than Southern food and while I wouldn’t say that her recipes were always in that vein she does always remind me of home. Kelly packs a powerful punch of flavor in recipes that are healthy for you.
4. Add a Pinch
At this point, I’m starting to realize that bloglovin has taken me to so many great blogs that provide amazing recipes. Robyn has a site that I got to again and again to reference different aspects of cooking or to learn a new technique. You’ll feel like you’re fixing yourself a 5-star meal.
5. Melissa d’Arabian
I fell head over heels in love with Melissa when she won Next Food Network Star. She made cooking even what looked like the most difficult dishes easy to understand and fun for the whole family. She makes healthy meals that are kid friendly all for under $10 for 4 people! What wasn’t there to like?
Honestly, there are so many other great food blogs out there in the universe to try, but these were my top 5 most used of 2013, and I feel like many of them will have a repeat for me in 2014. So here’s to keep your New Years Resolutions in 2014!
