You’re in the right place if…
- You can’t remember the last time you had time alone to do anything, even shower.
- You miss the independence you had before kids.
- You desperately need some pampering.
- You recently sent a thank you card to the creators of Paw Patrol because that show is a lifesaver.
- You want to go to a dinner party without looking disheveled with bags under your eyes.
- You miss your morning workout.
- You regularly wear mom buns and yoga pants.
- You make any excuse to get out of the house because you’re going insane.
- You have no idea what the latest is in celebrity gossip
- You don’t remember what it’s like to talk to someone your own age for more than five minutes
Were you nodding along as you read the list?
Did I describe your life to a T?
When I first had Sweet Baby J, I was constantly hysterical. I felt like I wasn’t able to do anything more than care for him. My husband cooked dinner most nights. Oh, and he did all of the laundry, too. I felt like I was barely surviving feeding the baby and keeping him occupied that I couldn’t even think of anything else. I was tired. I was too tired at night to write blog posts, read a book, or, even, zone out on the TV.
It wasn’t until I realized that I needed to prioritize time for myself. I needed to prioritize time for the things that I want to do. Sometimes, that’s easier said than done. But I figured out a way so that I could actually have some “me” time, every day alongside spending time with my husband and building a business.
Now, I’m able to watch at least an hour of TV with my husband each night and read for 15 minutes. We workout 2 to 3 times a week and I meet my step goal every single day. I feel refreshed. My blog posts are always done on time and I have the mental space to do more growing than surviving.
The Hot Mess to Got It Together Boot Camp
This is a 6 week coaching program filled with one-on-one coaching sessions and support. Each week we will chat on the phone for a 1 hour coaching call designed to empower you to your best life as a mother and a woman. You will have ready access to me via email throughout the week to discuss how things are working and any issues you may have as they come up.
Why You Need This Boot Camp
If that doesn’t sound like something you need, yet you are struggling with those bullet points above, I want you to imagine your life as it continues forward, without any outside guidance. You’re going to keep pouring from your cup until it is empty. You might even keep trying to pour more out of yourself, but there will be nothing left to give. You will be frazzled, irritable, anxious and unable to continue on. Your kids and your husband will notice the change in you, and you might even overhear your child say to a friend, “My mommy used to play with me all the time, but now she just sits there.”
It’s difficult to admit that you need help, especially as a mom, but the reality is: we all need it. We can’t do motherhood alone with our sanity intact. When we continue to pour into others, without refilling our cups, we are not helping anyone.
Benefits and Features
Throughout the boot camp, you will have me, your fairy godmother, in your corner cheering you on and supporting you as you get it together. Not only will you have that support during the boot camp, but I will be here supporting you even after you graduate from boot camp. Have a question about something down the line? Just send me an email, I’ll wave my wand and we will talk strategy for getting it together again!
This boot camp is going to help you have a happier and more organized home life that will free up your time. With all this free time, you can focus on quality time with yourself and your family, as well as building a strong community of mom friends. You’ll be able to have conversations about current events and relevant topics. The other PTA moms are going to be in total shock of all the free time you have to stay up to date on pop culture, have regular date nights, host dinner parties and more. They’ll wish they had their own fairy godmother to help them!
What You Get
This boot camp is broken into 6 weeks of 60-minute coaching calls, homework and support on the following timeline:
Week 1: Family Mission Statement
It is so important to set a mission statement for your family. We will be chatting expectations and how to achieve the goals you have. Just because you are a mom now, doesn’t mean you have to give up on your dreams of traveling, volunteering and more.
Week 2: Organizing All The Things
The best way to get it together is to know where everything is! Am I right? We will cover the systems you need to have an organized home and life.
Week 3: Reconnecting in Relationships
Motherhood can get lonely, especially when you are a hot mess. If you don’t have time for your marriage or family, that loneliness will become all encompassing. We will be going over how to reconnect and maintain your connections.
Week 4: Building Your Community
A community of moms supporting moms and others with your child’s best interest in mind is a must! I will be giving you a list of the people you need in yours and your child’s life.
Week 5: Self-Love and Self-Care
You can’t get it together unless you make time for self-care. You need to keep your cup filled!
Week 6: Rediscovering Your Hobbies
As a mom, your likes and dislikes may have changed. Some hobbies might seem impossible or no longer interest you. We are going to get you back to the things you love and help you discover new hobbies and likes.
In addition to our coaching calls, you will receive some amazing bonuses from some dear friends of mine! Raewyn from Be a Warrior Queen has created a workbook of self-love journal prompts specifically designed for moms who are struggling to embrace their own identity alongside their identity as mom.
