Have you ever thought about individual or family therapy? What was stopping you? Was it the fact that you couldn’t figure out where to start when finding a therapist?
These were all questions I had on the podcast this week. Plus, we discussed so much more.
Here at Two Moms, One Podcast, we know that therapy can sometimes be a taboo topic among families, but it doesn’t have to be. It can be very helpful for those people who are in need of it. That’s why we wanted to invite our dear friend Ili over to talk about the why, how, and benefits of therapy with all of you. You don’t have to struggle alone. You can find the help you need to be successful as a family if everyone is willing to put in the work. Listen now and see how.
Ili Walter is a therapist coach–she helps therapists, counselors, and mental health professionals create work from their creativity, priorities, and purpose. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist, and soon to be Ph.D. Originally from Puerto Rico, Ili grew up as an Army kid. She is an introvert (although it’s not obvious), and her favorite pastime is hearing people’s life stories. Ili lives in South Florida with her husband and daughter, as well as her two rescued family members–Mia the lab mix, and Moxie the cat.
