There are two things breastfeeding women need, support and to look and feel sexy. These things are not easy. I know because I spent a year suffering through in clothes that were ill-fitting. I spent a year nervous that someone was going to come up to me and say something hateful. I spent a year being obsessed with finding women who didn’t want to make you feel bad for not being 110% crunchy or breastfeeding all the time. It was a rough year in so many ways, but I’m glad I was able to provide my son with those early immunities. I’m glad that I was able to feed him the best thing for him. I also grew in my hope to support all mothers no matter their walk of life or how they feed their baby. Breastfeeding can be sexy without being sexual because sexy is a feeling. Women deserve to feel sexy.
