Ladies, I know it’s hard to imagine where your free time is going to come from, but I promise you that I’ve got some tips. You’ll find out my amazing tips for getting out of the house on time if you sign up for the Hot Mess to Got It Together Challenge. It’ll definitely help you feel less stressed in the morning. Isn’t that the time when you’re the most under a time crunch? I know the morning is the real kicker for me on the days I need to get out of the house.
Yesterday morning I literally forgot what day it was, and I almost missed Sweet Baby J’s music class. We were outside playing when I realized it was 9 o’clock and a Thursday! Every Thursday is the same in my house. We get up, eat breakfast, and head to music class. This Thursday, I almost forgot. Thankfully, I had systems in place that allowed me to remember at 9 o’clock and still get to class with 5 minutes to spare. I rushed up to Sweet Baby J’s room and threw his pajamas in the hamper and his clothes onto his body. I rushed to change my pants. I grabbed all the things I needed for my diaper bag. I was out the door in 5 minutes flat. I don’t like feeling that rushed, but I do like knowing that I wasn’t late. I like knowing that everything was where it was supposed to be and my life was easy. Yours can be too.
I know mornings aren’t the only hard part of your day. I’ve recently tried cooking with a toddler underfoot after all. It’s rough. I feel the pain of not getting 5 minutes to yourself without closing the bathroom door. I know what it’s like to miss out on all your favorite shows because you just don’t have the energy to turn on the television. I can’t fix all those problems with this challenge, but I can help you get on the right track.
I know that just this morning you probably weathered a tantrum or maybe it was a picky eater. Honey, I know how you feel. You feel overwhelmed, and you have those little moments when you question why you had children in the first place. This doesn’t mean you love them any less. I promise. We all have those moments where we can’t listen to another scream. We don’t want another person to touch us. We want to feel less stressed. We want our time to be less in demand. How do I solve this problem?
I solve this problem with keen organizational skills. I have a place for everything related to the baby and everything has a place. This makes life easier for me, the nanny, my husband, and of course when the grandparents come to visit. My system is totally for dummies, and I’m excited to share it with you. Remember the challenge starts on May 15th. You don’t want to miss out so please put your e-mail in the box below this post. You’ll be in for a real treat at the end.
I look forward to seeing you there because I want you to feel fancy-free. I want you to be able to leave the house anytime you feel like it without having to search for #ALLTHETHINGS. I want you to feel cool as a cucumber when someone invites you out for a last minute play date. I know it sounds like a big promise.
