As you all know, I’ve started a Weight Watchers journey. This journey means that Valentine’s Day can get pretty hairy. Of course it means the same thing for Easter and all the other fabulous holidays coming up. The Weight Watchers journey actually left me wondering what was I left to give up for Lent, but that’s a story for another time. Today, I wanted to come up with an awesome list of foods that you can have on your diet that will count as an indulgence. If you’re on Weight Watchers like me, you’re going to love these, and I’ve got you covered from breakfast to dessert!
1. Red Velvet Pancakes
You can start your day off right with these wonderful red velvet pancakes from Skinnytaste! The good news is that even the kids will love them. I mean how could anyone resist especially if you turn them into glorious heart shapes?
2. Hummus Chicken Salad
I love a good chicken salad as much as the next person so I was stoked to see one that I could have on my daily points. Plus it’s only 5 SP. This means that we are at 15 of my allotted 36 for the day, but I believe it’s best to put your most points toward the beginning of the day. It’s much easier to work it off after all.
3. Red Pepper and Eggplant Dip
I love roasted red pepper anything really so I’m stoked to really enjoy this dip. It’s a 2 SP snack especially if you pair it with 0 SP vegetables. I’m already in love.
4.Personal sized Lasagna
I love pasta. I love carbs. I’m pretty stoked to still be able to have them and still diet. This personal sized lasagna would be a Valentine’s Day dream! Plus, it is only 5 SP.
5. Chocolate Espresso Mousse
Chocolate isn’t my thing, but this blog isn’t just for me. I wanted to be sure to give you all a little gem. This is a 2SP dessert. How can you beat that? You can’t!
The total Smart Points for this day would be: 24 SP. I have a total daily SP allotment of: 36. I’ve now planned a menu that allows me room for snacks! This is amazing!
