Last weekend, we went out-of-town so I missed my Sunday Funday post, but I was still being active and eating well. I’ll admit sometimes it’s hard to get out there and get active when the weather is near freezing, but I came up with a solution for that. I walk laps around my house. Also, we got a membership to the YMCA and are really loving it. I think one of the most important things in holding yourself accountable is having a partner, and I have that in spades. I have you, and I have a wonderful husband. We’re killing it.
Last week, I upped my step goal to 12,000 steps per day from 10,000 steps per day. I actively achieved that every day except Friday.
As you can see, I averaged a little over 10,000 steps per day in the last 7 days. Friday really drags me down man, but I know this week will be better. Friday will drag me down until next Friday though.
As you can see, I have weighed daily, and I have seen mostly a decline. Yesterday, I gave into some cravings I was having. Today is a new day, though, and I’m starting fresh. I think that’s an important thing to remember any time you have a setback on your journey. 148.2 is still a ways from the 155.6 I started this journey at just 2 weeks ago.
Activities participated in this week:
I walked 12,000 steps all but one-day last week.
I participated in Zumba class on Saturday morning.
I carried around a 20lb weight, I mean baby, for large chunks of the week.
Foods we ate this week:
Acorn squash with brown sugar
Crock Pot Santa Fe Chicken
Grilled Garlic Dijon Salmon
Spinach and Tuna salad with Annie’s Honey Mustard vinaigrette
