The holidays are here. We are going to celebrate Thanksgiving this week and then it’s headlong into the holiday season. For us, we have Hanukkah right on the back of Thanksgiving with Christmas just a couple of weeks later, and I’ve had to think about how to keep every day intentional. It’s important for me that the holiday season contain memories. This means that we have to think about traditions and keeping the season festive. What are your plans to keep the holidays festive and intentional?
Tis the season to be jolly. That’s one of the things I want to remember this year. I want to not be stressed over the holidays, and I think that luckily I won’t be this year. I have already bought 95% of my Christmas presents, and I can go about making traditions that will stick now. I started my The Holidays for Interfaith Families pinboard to help me remember cool things to do. I invite you to check it out.
Don’t worry I haven’t forgotten that the season is also a time for gift giving. I don’t want ya’ll to stress over getting the perfect gift either so I’ve created my Gift Ideas for the Whole Family pinboard. My family and friends always appreciate the thought I put into their gifts. I know though that the season can be stressful if you don’t know what to buy for the person who has everything. So don’t worry if you’re having difficulty. I want to help you. You can always reach out to me via email anytime. I’m here for you.
In the mean time, I hope you’ll enjoy a warm cup of hot chocolate and relax. I hope you’ll remember that it is the season to be joyful and to spend time with family. I hope you’ll bake a treat that makes your house smell delicious. I hope you’ll send me some. Remember I’m a sucker for white chocolate!
Tell me, what are your plans for this holiday season?
