Okay, we can all admit to perusing Pinterest, right? I think we all do it. I mean how else are we going to stay up on all the cool new arts & crafts that make us feel like we somehow don’t have it all together. Note to everyone: none of us have it all together. Okay, I guess someone out there is very June Cleaver, but it’s not me. I am doing my best though, and I really want to perfect my kitchen skills. This week I decided to go easy on myself though and start with a simple yet delicious chicken dish. Trust me it was delicious. Now the question is how easy was the recipe to follow? I’ll tell you all about it.
The recipe was super easy to follow. As you can see, it is simple. The recipe calls for a certain number of ingredients all of which I had on hand, and it tells you step by step how to put them together. There were no missing steps and everything seemed pretty straightforward. I still managed to not come out with a piece of chicken that looks exactly like the picture though.
As you can see, my piece of chicken ended up less brown than the original. I think this happened when I was reducing the honey and garlic mixture on the stove. I didn’t leave it on for quite long enough so this is something that I’d correct for the next occurrence of this dish. The dish was still delicious with all the proper flavors though so I’d call this one a major win for me!
This recipe review was definitely an I can do that. It was easy and clearly thought out. I was glad to find this recipe on Pinterest, and I know that it can be a quick and easy dinner idea. I’d highly recommend this recipe to ya’ll. What kind of recipe review would you like to see next week?
