Since this Valentine’s Day is probably going to be a bit hectic for me, I thought I’d look around the web to see what kinds of amazing ideas other bloggers came up with for the holiday. I am excited to share 5 that I really loved with you. As you know, I am due February 18th so either Sweet Baby J will be quickly approaching for the holiday or Sweet Baby J will already be here. Either way it’s going to be prudent that I pick Valentine’s Day activities that aren’t too taxing on me but still celebrate what the day is about and that’s our love. Most people see it as a frivolous holiday, but I feel it’s always important to take time out to celebrate your love and relationships. This shouldn’t be just done on Valentine’s Day of course, but I’ll always take time to honor the special day. If you’re biggest issue is dealing with the crowds that go out on Valentine’s Day then you can check out my guide on how to avoid them, here. Now let me show you 5 Amazing DIY Valentine’s Day Ideas that I found online today. The Dating Divas
The Dating Divas are at it again this year with this amazing date night in a box. All you need is a box and an idea for a great night both you and your love will enjoy. I know that this one really caught my eye. We could watch a movie on Netflix or play a board game without ever having to leave the house. It’s a win/win! This is a great idea for Valentine’s Day or just a random date night as well. The 36th Avenue
The 36th Avenue has this great edible Valentine’s Day present that I know would sure make everyone here happy. I mean who doesn’t love a little sweet and salty mix? Valentine’s Day is definitely the best time of year to get creative with the candies and this idea was something I hadn’t seen before. I bet you can’t eat just one or 10.Thinking Closet
12 preplanned dates. I think this is one of the best ideas for a Valentine’s Day present I have ever seen. It’s the kind that can fit into any budget too. You can either come up with a bunch of free or cheap adventures to do with your love for your once monthly date night or you can include gift cards for prepaid events such a dinner or the movies. It’s totally an awesome way to show your love and have something ready to go for that monthly date night. You won’t have to debate it again!Living on a Dime
Valentine’s Day Treasure Hunts are always fun. Actually, I think a good treasure hunt is just fun in general, but you can make it extra special on Valentine’s Day. You send your husband through the house on a little hunt for an extra special treat. You might even have him pick up the whip cream for the strawberries on the way!Tried & True
Valentine’s Day is a great time to show your hubs that you love them with a little game. Who doesn’t love Jenga or other tumble block games? Tried & True has turned into a game where you can really show how much you love each other and still get the excitement of who is going to knock it over first. Care to place a bet? This seems like it’d be a super awesome game to play with everyone in the family.
Those are the amazing ideas I found for this Valentine’s Day since I know that it will be unlike any to come after it. What are you doing for Valentine’s Day? Do you have any other low key but fun ideas?
