First, I’ll admit that the food featured in this post was free. It was not given to me for my review though. It was merely part of an event which a friend invited me to attend. You may have noticed me live tweeting Hell’s Kitchen last night as I ate this pizza. It was a real treat.
Let’s start with dessert, because I can. You’ll have to forgive the bad Iphone photos for a minute, because I forgot to take my real camera. It wouldn’t matter though if you could taste this gelato. It was delicious and made just like I remember from Florence. I think that there is some important step in the process that makes my lactose intolerant body not reject it. I ate the entire dish, and I don’t regret it at all.
Mushroom, artichoke, prosciutto, garlic, and buffalo mozzarella made up this pizza. I was kind of surprised I enjoyed it so much since the baby is so anti garlic, but it was incredible. The artichoke hearts giving it the necessary tang to pull everything altogether. Plus let’s just not forget that the crust was unbelievable on all the pizza. This is coming from someone who doesn’t even eat the crust, EVER.
This one contained broccoli rabe, mushrooms, cherry tomato, garlic, and buffalo mozzarella. I ate less of this one, because it came later. Even a pregnant lady can only eat so much!
This one had was my favorite. I’m not even sure what kind of red pepper was on this one. The sausage was delicious, but the peppers brought this sweet heat that was to die for. I’d totally order this again and again. I’m also not sure what was on this one. Hey, the pregnant lady was starving when we arrived, and I missed hearing some things for potty breaks. I’ve researched the menu all morning. I can tell you that the juice from the tomatoes tasted delicious as it fell over the creamy cheese. Plus, I love mushrooms!
All in all last night was incredible. We had a great time cracking jokes and eating amazing pizza. I’d definitely give the place 4 out of 5 stars for pizza here in LA. The pizza was great. The atmosphere was great. I don’t think you’d predict any of that from looking at the surrounding neighborhood, but you should seriously stop.

I’d also like to say that last nights episode of Hell’s Kitchen was intense but awesome. You can get my feedback if you check my twitter feed from last night. Undercooked potatoes are always a loser though!
