Upon seeing Missed Connections for A-holes in New Yorker magazine I knew that this was something I could really get behind. We all have multiple of these that we’d probably like to write daily especially anyone driving in Los Angeles or working at your local coffee joint I’m sure. Even these ducks probably ran into a few and they were at the Happiest Place on Earth. Note they’re not exactly where they should be, and I was incredibly worried for their general safety.
This morning though, I ran into the one person who really made me want to write my own missed connection for a-holes so here goes nothing.
I was waiting patiently at the four way stop at my exit this morning. I stopped and let the cars that made it to the stop before me go in the order which they made it. This included the car in front of you. You were impatient and decided to turn right, which lead you to turn into my left turning car. You looked at me as if I were in the wrong. I wish I could have talked to you this morning so I could have taken you back to driver’s education and explained the rules of a four way stop. I wish you could have been in my car that isn’t even a week old and let me frighteningly turn into you. I’m sure it would have been beautiful. God bless your heart I hope you have a nice day. Love, the girl in the Hyundai you almost smashed.
