We’ve reached a point in wedding planning where almost everything is done. I say almost everything, because we’re still working on tablescapes, favor arrangements, and of course the chuppah. I know that all these things will get done, but you feel pretty overwhelmed at this point in planning. Thankfully, we hit up the Patchwork Craft Fair over the weekend, because I was able to not only relax but get a few important things for the wedding. Chalkboard markers were definitely a must have item that seemed hard to find until we stopped by one booth. I could have danced!
Then of course we found this perfect wheelbarrow! For months, we had talked about buying one from Home Depot to paint for the wedding, but I couldn’t find one I truly liked. They all looked so industrial. When you think of a Southern rustic wedding you think of an old slightly rusted looking metal wheelbarrow or a wooden garden one. As soon as Beeble saw this one, we knew it was the one. I can’t wait to put a little dirt in the bottom of it and stack our favors!
We got basil and parsley from Plantables and Paper, and we think it’s adorable. Herbs are the kind of thing that anyone can grow. They can be grown indoors or out, and they will be there for the long haul. We thought this was better than floral seeds for that reason. Flowers are so dependent on climate.
