Slender Kitchen is a meal planning site, which I signed up for a couple of weeks ago. There have been many ups and downs with the recipes, but I think overall it is a wonderful site that is definitely helping me lose weight and keep my goals in mind. I did not receive this membership as a gift, and I am in no way a weight loss expert. I can assure you that I have lost weight using Slender Kitchen. I am down about 5lbs! This is fabulous considering how close we are to wedding time. We’re almost at the 4 month mark, which sounds totally farther away than it feels right now. Losing 5lbs in 2 weeks though was definitely a direct result of following the recipes from Slender Kitchen, eating healthier snacks, and of course drinking a lot of water and tea. Hey, I need my caffeine from somewhere.
The downsides to Slender Kitchen so far have been incomplete recipes and/or mis direction. There are been a few times where we were left guessing how long should be the cook time with no instruction as to time or the fact that it should be brown on the top. Love and I prepare all of these meals together. There have been other times when the instructions say to put a liquid on the stove at medium high heat for 10minutes, which of course makes all the water evaporate. Most of these things can of course be corrected for with some common sense thinking, but we wanted to spend 2 weeks attempting to do everything by the book in order to see how we really felt about Slender Kitchen.
All in all I think that it is a great application for weight loss. I can’t say that it will work for everyone, but I am on the low carb plan and have lost a total of 5lbs. I think that the site still needs improvement in some areas, but the benefit is definitely outweighing the negatives for me. Hopefully in the next few weeks Slender Kitchen will have fuller instructions, but for now I suggest checking it out since there is a 14 day money back guarantee.
