In 2014, I think that many of you will be surprised to know that toast is going to be the trend, and it will be expensive. I know you think you’ve been eating toast your whole life, and it’s been fabulous with just plain jelly or peanut butter….you were wrong! I’m kidding! You weren’t really wrong. I think that a classic piece of toast is fabulous in it’s own right, but I think you’ll also be pleased when you taste an elevated version.
Earlier this month, I read an article called The story behind the artisanal toast trend, and it really got me thinking about how many ways could toast be elevated. Would just toast be filling enough for say dinner? I had to learn more. Next I stumbled upon How Did Toast Become the Artisanal Food Craze, and you are so moved by toast that it is unbelievable. It no longer matters what toast can do for you. You learn that cinnamon toast made from love can create a food trend that will send people home with full bellies and warm hearts. You learn that people cook from the heart and then if it takes off it takes off. We create things that make us happy, because we think of it as comfort food. This is the same as so many trends before it, and it will be the same as so many trends after it. It also reminds us that everyone struggles with something no matter what trend they start of how successful they are in anything. So here’s to hoping you can enjoy a nice piece of artisanal toast and share it with a friend and ask them how they’re doing.
