I’ll admit that I didn’t go out and create my own pizza dough recipe. I borrowed a little help from Mr. Bobby Flay over at the Food Network for this one. For the most part dough recipes are fairly similar from what I can tell, but you can play around with them here or there to make them however you’d like. We used All-Purpose flour since it was what we had lying around instead of buying a large amount of bread flour, but I don’t think it came out as chewy as I thought it might from the recipe description.
Upon removal from the mixer, you will have a ball of dough that needs to be placed on a lightly floured area for more working. You will want to fold and knead slightly until it forms a more solid round ball. You do not want to over knead so as soon as you think it’s ready then maybe do it once or twice more and stop. Place the dough into your greased bowl and let it set. It will expand two times the size it is now so make sure to use the large bowl.
