What better way to close out summer than with an ice cold float? The only way I can think of is to kick that float up a notch a little Southern Comfort and Fireball Whiskey! It’s a new spiced take on an old time favorite. I wanted the bite of A & W root bear with aged vanilla while Love wanted something a bit more creamy so we went with Henry Weinhard’s Vanilla Cream soda. Fun fact: Henry Weinhard started producing his root beer during prohibition when they had to stop selling beer. We also preferred different flavors of ice cream. I wanted mine to taste something like a sweet Southern peachy dessert with a kick so I settled on the caramel ice cream topper and Love wanted even more vanilla flavor. Honestly, I tried both of them, and they were fabulous.
