Today’s post will be a link post, because I don’t have photoshop on the computer I’m using, and I forgot my other computer at home. Clearly my Friday is already off to a great start. I’m sure at some point all of you have felt my pain so without further ado here are the 5 things I’m loving this week:
1.// The Home Buisness Start up Bible by Renae Christine
I’m about halfway through this book, and I can already tell you that it’s a must read for someone that hasn’t launched their business yet. There are so many things in there that I wished I had known before starting my own. The good news is that it isn’t too late for me to implement some of the things she talks about either. From how to jot down a business plan to what colors to use to make your website cohesive. I highly recommend this book.
2.// Very Pink Knits
I crochet, but I wanted to learn how to knit. I taught myself to crochet by watching youtube tutorials so why would I think it was any different with knitting. I wouldn’t! I’ll be honest though I watched probably hundreds of youtubes about knitting before I found this one, and this one is by far the best at explaining things step by step in a way that makes it easy peasy for you to start doing it on your own!
Seriously the resources provided here and the best! I log in every day that I’m at a computer just to see what kind of new and exciting things are going on today! If you haven’t already checked it out an became a member you should. The lovely people here will support you and help you to stretch your ideas into the best that they can be, which is what you really want when starting a new business!
Sometimes the ladies at work as me to make things for them with beads so I use this site to buy all the necessary equipment. It’s easy, arrives quickly, and it has such a wide selection. I still have extra supplies for making my next glasses necklace or holder so I’m looking forward to even getting the next order.
5.// The Daily Grace
We all need a break sometimes and what better place to go and get that than from Lowe’s spokeswoman Grace Helbig. Her Lowe’s commercials totally make me want to use my Lowe’s to keep everything in check (except I can’t remember the last time I even saw a Lowe’s in my neighborhood. Here we have Ace, the helpful place). She’s funny, awkward, and informative. Plus, she’s super cute. If you don’t get your dose of The Daily Grace already then I highly recommend it.
Note: I really love Ace Hardware. They have been a wonderful resource in my neighborhood with very helpful employees. I just love Grace so much!
