Tomorrow night my local yarn store is going to have a stitch n bitch at Dodgers Stadium! It’s the LA Dodgers vs the Cincinnati Reds, which makes me extra excited since I went to college about an hour south of Cincinnati. I’ve picked mug hugs as my project for the night since I’ve wanted to add them to my store for awhile. This should be a really good time with a lot of fun ladies. If you crochet and you haven’t joined up with your local yarn store or your local stitch n bitch through ravelry then I definitely recommend it.
Now on a more serious note, my heart goes out to everyone who was involved in yesterday’s train crash in Spain. I’ve never been to the area of Santiago de Compostela, but I can tell you that Spain is a wonderful place to visit and even live. One of my best friend lives in Madrid currently. I was terrified when I first heard the news, because I didn’t know the location of the train. I’m not less effected because my friend is safe. The video of the crash is just incredible and unbelievable. There are 78 people dead and 141 injured and my heart goes out to every single person, family, and all of their friends effected, because it breaks my heart to see this tragedy so I can only imagine their pain. Today I am with Santiago de Compostela and all of Spain plus the world in mourning the loss of these individuals.
